Wirtschaftsrat Deutschland
Founded in 1963, the Der Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e. V. (CDU Council of Economic Advisers) is a nationally-organised professional association of entrepreneurs and currently has around 11,000 members. The Wirtschaftsrat represents the interests of entrepreneurial economics in relation to politics, management and the public.
As a professional registered association of entrepreneurs, the Wirtschaftsrat is legally unaffiliated and politically independent. It conducts dialogue with all democratic political parties and social groups as well as with the trade unions and churches. The Wirtschaftrat sees its role as an advocate of the social market economy and of free and socially responsible enterprise in relation to all governments and parties.
