Beginning in 2016, the municipal administration of Bautzen, in conjunction with the Agentur für Arbeit (Employment Agency), the IHK (Chamber of Commerce), and the Kreishandwerkerschaft (District Craft Trades Association), has been recruiting participants for the project “Praxistage” (Practice Days), in which CE cideon engineering gladly took part in 2017.
During the project week, which lasted from 24th to 28th April 2017, about 100 students from the Philipp-Melanchton secondary school had the chance to gain an insight into the most diverse professions by visiting up to five companies in the region.
CE cideon engineering was also involved. For one full day, 5 tenth-grade students were given the opportunity to get an idea of the engineering profession. In addition to an introduction to various development possibilities in this professional field, the students were able to try their hand in the construction of a rail vehicle, and to observe our employees at work in the areas of design and calculation.
