A team event is important to (re)strengthen the sense of community and to be able to work together successfully. Especially in times of SocialDistancing!
Therefore, the Chemnitz colleagues met on 03 September 2020 – in compliance with the currently valid Covid-19 regulations – for a joint visit to the Saxon Railway Museum in Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf.
The event kicked off with a ride on the Schauplatz-Express to the shunting yard. This was followed by a group tour through the extensive museum grounds.
The historical area stretches from the cable pay-off in the west and the boiler house complex in the east to the locomotive showroom – where the colleagues were able to marvel at early steam locomotives, the first electric locomotives and more recent diesel locomotives. After visiting the museum, our colleagues from ECS, Documentation and Onsite Engineering rounded off the day with a meal together.
